Almost every job at the Foodbank is done by our team of awesome volunteers

The Foodbank only has one part-time employee, our Service Co-ordinator. Every other job at the Foodbank, like buying, collecting and transporting food, packing parcels, organising fundraisers, approaching donors, managing our social media and updating the website is done by our team of awesome volunteers.

Volunteering is a great way to give back to your community, meet new people and learn new skills. It can be a great team-building activity for youth groups and work teams. 

Please note: parcel packing takes place during our opening hours which are 9am to 11.30am Monday to Friday (except Thursday). Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate children under 15 at the Foodbank during opening hours.
